Sport & Remedial Massage
Sports massage is a deep tissue massage that tends to be targeted towards specific areas of the body, it involves manipulation and mobilisation of all the soft tissues using a variety of techniques. The techniques gradually work deeper into the muscles and can be helpful in identifying muscular imbalances caused by strenuous or repetitive activity. Typically, a medium-firm pressure is used - but it doesn't have to be painful! The pressure can be adjusted to suit each client and alternative techniques can be used to achieve the same result.

Sports massage can be used pre-workout to mobilise joints, loosen and warm up the muscles, and post-workout to reduce muscle soreness and bring fresh, healing blood and nutrients to the fatigued muscles.

However, a sports massage is not just for sports people! It can be a benefit to anybody suffering from tight muscles, whether the cause be sport, occupational or lifestyle stress.
